Several important schemes, including the Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, are being implemented to provide subsidies, grants, and other benefits to entrepreneurs. He encouraged industrialists to take maximum advantage of these schemes.

During the inspection, Secretary Bagoli reviewed the current status of industries, their production capacity, and existing challenges. He stressed the need for industry friends to increase production, adopt better packaging, and supply high-quality products in the market. Strengthening small industries will provide employment to local youth and help check migration. He appealed to entrepreneurs to expand their industries by availing the benefits of government schemes.

On this occasion, Chamoli Project Officer Anand Singh, Tajvar Singh Negi and Rahul from the Industry Friends Organization, along with other industry members, were present.

Secretary Shailesh Bagoli informed the industry friends that apart from the Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, special encouragement is being given to other schemes such as forest produce-based industries, food processing units, handicrafts, and tourism-related enterprises. He said that aspiring young entrepreneurs can easily avail the benefits of these schemes through online portals.

During the inspection, the Secretary also directed officials to further improve basic facilities in the industrial centre, including roads, electricity, water supply, and security arrangements.
